Presents basic aeronautical factors affecting aircraft design and performance. Major topics include atmospheric properties, lift, drag, thrust, aircraft performance, stability and control, high-speed aerodynamics, operating strength limitations and aerodynamics of specific flying problems. Prerequisite: AVS 2101 or EDS 1021 or PHY 1001
