Applies nonlinear programming, calculus of variations and optimal control to flight and trajectory optimization. Covers ballistic and adaptive pursuit guidance; orbit determination and celestial navigation; recursive navigation; GPS and Kalman filtering. Prerequisite: AEE 5802
