Catalog description

Provides an understanding of the motion of celestial objects and spacecraft under gravity. Includes analysis of the two-body and restricted three-body problems and orbital transfer using impulsive forces. Also includes designing interplanetary spacecraft trajectories for given specifications. Uses MATLAB for numerical analyses and dynamic simulation. Prerequisite: MEE 2082 and ( MTH 2201 or MTH 3200
