Catalog description

Studies inviscid high-speed compressible flow. Introduces theory and applications of compressible aerodynamics. Also includes normal and oblique shocks, wave interactions, compressible flow in ducts and nozzles, Prandtl-Meyer expansion, method of characteristics and unsteady 1D flows. Prerequisite: AEE 3161 and MEE 3191
