This course introduces students to federal income tax fundamentals, with an emphasis on individual returns, the U.S. tax law, and the role of the IRS. Topics include gross income, capital gains and losses, deductions and exemptions, and tax credits. Prerequisite: ACG2003 and ACG2003L.
