Intro. to Sonographic Physics and Instrumentation Lab

Catalog description

This course present the practical approach to understanding the fundamentals of ultrasound physics, instrumentation, image characteristics, artifacts, and bio-effects. The ergonomics of proper scanning techniques (setting up the cart, chair, and room properly to avoid musculoskeletal injury) will also be presented. It covers a detailed study of ultrasound physics and the application within the clinical setting.
