Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce the students to the basic concepts of cardiopulmonary disease. Included are the mechanisms of altered lung structure airway caliber, neurogenic control and pulmonary vascular function. Laboratory exercises consistent with didactic material are incorporated into the course.
