Cardiopulmonary Function

Catalog description

This course refines techniques in spirometry gas analysis. Theory of arterial blood gas analysis is also covered. Mass screening and other techniques in diagnosis of respiratory disease are given. The course will also give the student the opportunity to practice the techniques used for spirometric determination of lung volumes and flow rates and the basic principles of cardiopulmonary stress testing.
