This course will provide a general introduction to dissolution of marriage, including both the practice and specific procedures. Topics covered include: valid marriage, grounds for divorce, dissolution of marriage and annulment, laws concerning children, parental support, adoption and guardianship, property rights, and tax laws relating to families.
