Independent Study II

Catalog description

This second independent study course focuses on the application and practice of new assessment skills and the writing of a case study related to a patient with a condition related to the student's area of focus in reference to the ICF categories. Furthermore, the student will engage in self- assessment of his or her abilities related to advanced assessment skills. The student will incorporate the elevated knowledge of laboratory and radiological results, medical management, and the effect of personal and environmental factors within the ICF model from the prerequisite courses into their assessment processes.
