Evidence Based Practice I

Catalog description

This course builds upon the introduction of evidence based practice in the fundamental PTA courses. Students will explore the need for evidence based practice in physical therapy. The skills of locating, identifying, and evaluating research articles and different sources of information and published data will be developed. Students will practice synthesizing the data from multiple sources to answer or solve a physical therapy clinical problem and to determine the implications for practice.
