Catalog description

This course is designed to facilitate the development of critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and clinical judgment in a nursing setting by introducing several conceptual frameworks, practical guidelines, and concrete problems to solve. Furthermore, this course relies on outcome-based learning by stressing an emphasis on tangible, foreseeable goals for the sake of providing clear road-maps to counter-act confusion and unproductive activity. Learners will become familiar with strategies that will help sharpen their decision-making, decisiveness, and thoughtfulness for future peers and patients.
