This course focuses in the history and evolution of the nursing profession, ethical imperatives, and current trends and issues impacting professional practice in an evolving healthcare delivery environment are foundations for the development of the professional nurse. The role of the prepared graduate focuses on utilization of evidenced-based nursing practices and advanced leadership and management skills in a variety of settings within a global community.
