Adult Health Assessment

Catalog description

This course is designed to assist the students with the application of the assessment component of the nursing process. The student is introduced to evidence-based practice and the health wellness continuum. Critical thinking and documentation skills are emphasized to assist the student in making appropriate nursing judgments. Nursing laboratory sessions provide the opportunity for demonstration, supervised practice and return demonstration of physical assessment techniques.
