Catalog description

In this course, the student will explore the effect of technology advancement within health care. During the course, the student discovers the roles, theories, applications, and standards of health informatics to deliver and enhance care to patients and improve communication technologies to conduct, collect, access, integrate and coordinate effective care. The student will understand how health informatics improve patient care and health care outcomes across the continuum of patient care within the scope of health care dynamics.
