Advanced Primary Care of Family I

Catalog description

This course introduces concepts of the family nurse practitioner role, focusing on specialization, expansion, and advancement of research based knowledge and skills related to the advanced practice of nursing in primary care. Emphasis is on the development of a knowledge base necessary for clinical decision-making and the beginning definition of a model of practice with the family as the unit of service.
