Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Integration Practicum

Catalog description

The course prepares the students for the role of adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner with attention to the components of comprehensive assessment, clinical management and therapeutic monitoring, the coordination and management of multiple patient care condition. Clinical experiences are provided in a variety of elderly healthcare settings. Students focus on the promotion, maintenance and restoration of client health in collaboration/consultation with other members of the healthcare team.
