Catalog description

Students will apply developed skills and theoretical knowledge to daily practice situations. Students will implement evidence-based knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and management of chronic conditions of clients and families in primary care. Students identify and work closely with a preceptor, and acquire experience in problem-based learning, based on patient diagnoses identifying what they already know, what they need to know and how to find new information.
