Catalog description

This course is the second clinically-based course for family nurse practitioner students. Didactic and clinical experiences as an adult gerontology nurse practitioner care focusing on prevention and management of common and chronic conditions within the elderly population. Students further develop their skills related to health promotion, prevention of illness, diagnosis and management of health problems commonly experienced in geriatric community.
