Dual Diagnosis and Substance Abuse

This course introduces students to a subgroup of chemical dependency patients that suffer from more than one psychiatric illness at a time. Students will explore the many psychiatric illnesses in relation to substance abuse and how these impact treatment and counseling approaches.
