This course provides the background required by students working in the international marketplace. It explores international monetary systems, financial markets, foreign exchange, and the flow of capital and financial institutions. Specific topics include export-import payments and financing, preparing letters of credit, related shipping documentation, and electronic transfers. It also introduces the student to international financial decisions such as financing foreign investment and working capital.
