It also introduces students to finance and economics principles that explore the connection between financial markets, financial institutions, and the economy. The course includes a review of financial markets and financial institutions and the role they play in the economy, emphasizing the term structure of interest rates and stock pricing, currency values in the short and long term, and features of the FED.
