Catalog description

This course will cover the principles of education, placing emphasis on the philosophical, social, and historical essentials shaping the public education system in the United States. Students will explore different educational philosophies and their implications. This class has a 10-hour mandatory field experience component. Students must complete these hours in order to successfully pass the course.
