Catalog description

Intrusion Prevention and Detection is a course that covers all of the network security threats, intrusion detection, and prevention tools that are needed to keep company networks and data safe. In today's digital landscape, the proliferation of cyber threats poses significant risks to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems. This course equips students with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to detect, prevent, and respond to network-based attacks effectively, utilizing a combination of technologies, techniques, and best practices. Prerequisite: CGS1030 and CNT2401C.
