Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the principles and techniques used in digital forensic investigations. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge, hands-on practical exercises, and virtual labs, students will learn how to effectively identify, collect, analyze, and document digital evidence effectively. This course covers various topics essential for aspiring digital forensic investigators, including hardware identification, evidence acquisition, online investigations, documentation, and the admissibility of digital evidence. Prerequisite: CGS1030.
