Catalog description

This course examines the structures and functions of major biological molecules, including the organization of these molecules at the subcellular level. Cellular growth including bioenergetics, metabolism and its control, the movement and incorporation of macromolecules as related to cell expansion and repair will also be covered. In addition, the control of cellular growth including both genetics and biochemical control mechanisms will be examined.
