The course examines mechanisms of disease, health problems, and commonly occurring diseases with emphasis on the musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary and integumentary systems. The disablement and International Classification of Function models used in physical therapy are examined. Related medical terminology and pharmacology are included.
