This course is designed to further develop the concepts within the three domains of the human being, healthcare, and nursing as a profession. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of fluid/electrolytes, metabolism, perfusion, mobility, professional behaviors, quality improvement, and complex communication concepts. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide quality, individualized, entry level nursing care.
