Hematology I

Catalog description

This course emphasizes instruction in the theories and techniques of routine hematology, including the hematopoietic system, clinical correlations, automated and manual laboratory procedures and methodologies, and case study discussions. Additional emphasis will be placed on peripheral blood cell enumeration, identification, morphology, and hemoglobin analysis and how these findings correlate to clinical presentations.
