EKG Aide

Catalog description

This course is designed to orient the student to the structure and function of the human body as it applies to EKG¿s. The student will be able to demonstrate the necessary skills and knowledge to perform an EKG and Holter Monitor including proper lead placement, while practicing standard precautions, infection control, quality assurance and safety. The student will be able to recognize normal sinus rhythms and EKG rhythms consistent with a cardiac emergency.
