This course provides an introduction to the field of project management. Students become familiar with the concepts of selecting, initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects. Features of project management software will be covered and used to develop project plans. The course emphasizes techniques that can be applied to projects of varying size in diverse organizational settings and across a variety of disciplines.
