Essentials in Writing II

Catalog description

This introductory course provides students with instruction in the basics of college-level writing. Through the use of a variety of teaching and learning methods, including lecture, discussion, cooperative learning, lab-enhanced learning and others, students will learn to write clear, developed, logically-organized paragraphs and essays that demonstrate an understanding of the conventions of standard American English. Students must pass the course in order to proceed to ENC 1101. This college preparatory course does not apply toward the associate's degree.
