Assessment, Evaluation and Diagnosis

Catalog description

This course prepares teacher candidates with skills and knowledge in using age appropriate classroom assessment practices and strategies to improve student learning. Students will become familiar with the role of assessment to make informed instructional decisions. Special emphasis will be placed on assessment practices that include analysis and application of data from statewide standardized assessments and other multiple sources to improve achievement and increase the process of learning. Field experience is required.
