Speech/Listening Level 6

Catalog description

This course stresses the practice of the principles and methods involved in oral/aural communications. Students will engage in purposeful and sometimes guided discussions on a variety of topics. In addition, students will be given the opportunities to practice listening and note-taking skills through various academic lectures. Practice in pronunciation, stress, intonation and listening skills for academic purposes is an integral part of this course.
