Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the major issues associated with responding to terrorism. Students will learn techniques to measure, monitor and predict natural hazards and to help build resilience to hazards. The course focuses on the threat of terrorism to the United States and presents skills necessary to develop programs to reduce losses from future disasters and other natural and man-made hazards by the use of threat analysis. The course will also assess the relative effectiveness of anti-terrorist activities.
