This course teaches the application of the emergency care procedures taught in DES 1600 Dental Office Emergencies Lecture. Role-playing is used to demonstrate the roles of members of the dental team in a medical emergency. Identification of a medical emergency through signs and symptoms, as well as the treatment of common medical emergencies in the dental office, is emphasized through role-play.
