Dental Office Emergencies

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge to be prepared for, recognize and respond to an emergency in the dental environment. Instruction will include understanding and potential implications of the health history, familiarity with oxygen delivery systems, basic drugs and equipment in an emergency kit, and a study of common medical conditions and incidents.
