Catalog description

This companion laboratory course to DES 1000 is a study of the morphology and function of primary and permanent teeth, including all of the structures involved in mastication. After successfully completing this laboratory course, the student will demonstrate knowledge of: 1. Primary and permanent tooth eruption schedules and anatomical forms. 2. The function of primary & permanent dentition 3. Vocabulary used to describe teeth and other structures in the oral cavity. 4. The principles of occlusion.
