Introduction to Clinical Procedures Laboratory

Catalog description

A laboratory course designed to acquaint students with the many aspects of assisting at chairside in the treatment of dental patients. Students will learn patient management techniques, taking and recording medical and dental histories, vital signs, performing and assisting with clinical examinations and charting, assisting with local anesthesia and all areas of dental treatment, operating and maintaining dental equipment and sterilizers in a laboratory setting.
