Jazz II

Catalog description

This course is a continuation of Jazz I and continues to engage students in the principles of jazz dance. Emphasis is placed on developing proper body alignment, strength, balance, rhythmic awareness, and coordination. Students will gain an understanding of the historical and stylistic development of jazz dance as a performing art.
