Traffic Crash Investigations

Catalog description

Law enforcement officers conduct traffic crash investigations using a systematic approach, similar to the approach they use when responding to a robbery, battery, or homicide. This course will teach students this approach to include responding to, assessing, and protecting the scene; gathering and evaluating information and evidence; returning the scene to the normal condition; taking appropriate enforcement action; and documenting the crash.
