Catalog description

This course is a survey of major topical areas of environmental health. It examines sources, routes, media, and health outcomes associated with biological, chemical and physical agents in the environment. The course introduces students to economic and legal frameworks associated with environmental health issues and public health. In addition, the course covers applications of environmental health including water quality, air quality, food safety, solid and liquid wastes, and occupational health.
