Catalog description

This course will address counseling children and adolescents in school and mental health settings. Students will learn about the effects of contextual, systemic, and individual factors on children and adolescents, about issues frequently addressed in counseling this population, and about a variety of developmentally appropriate counseling interventions, skills, theories, and techniques.
