Training and Development

Catalog description

This course examines both the theory and practice of training and development in organizations. Topics covered will include organizational, task, and individual needs assessment, training design and implementation, and evaluation techniques. This course will draw upon research and theory from management, psychology, and other relevant domains. Application of the text/ lecture materials will be reinforced through class exercises, group assignments, guest lectures, and presentations. Prerequisites: MAN 3301 (Intro. to HR)
