Catalog description

Focuses on the principles of health economics essential to understanding current trends in the health care field and the development and implementation of health policy. Principles of microeconomic theory, including supply and demand for health care and how it applies to health service delivery are addressed. Emphasis throughout the course is on applying economics to understand the current health care system.
