Catalog description

This course explores the acquisition of existing venture as an entrepreneurial pathway. Students learn how entrepreneurs identify, evaluate, and pursue opportunities to acquire and grow established ventures. Emphasis is placed on entrepreneurial ownership, opportunity recognition within mature markets, and the challenges of revitalizing acquired ventures. Topics include search strategies, seller relationships, succession dynamics, and value creation through innovation and adaptation after acquisition.
