Catalog description

This course addresses the practical and ethical dimensions of school leadership for students with disabilities. It is constructed on a framework for reflection and deliberation that enables general and special educational leaders to advocate for and implement educational programming that extends beyond compliance. Content will reflect recommendations for professional learning, including empirical research, problem-based learning, and collaboration among general and special educational leaders to generate and evaluate solutions to the educational, physical, emotional, social, and behavioral growth of students with disabilities.
