An introduction to the theoretical approaches to psychotherapy and their practical applications in clinical settings. Students will examine the effects of different therapist roles and learn key concepts, applications, and techniques from most traditional therapeutic approaches in psychotherapy. Students will also become familiar with historical, current, and cultural issues in the psychotherapy profession.
