Forensic Clinical Psychology

Catalog description

This course explores the application and practice of forensic psychology in both the civil and criminal justice systems. The course will cover landmark legal cases relevant to the field of forensic psychology, potential careers in forensic psychology, police psychology, expert testimony, legal consultation, forensic assessment in the justice system, psychological constructs of particular importance to forensic psychology, ethics, correction psychology, and issues in working in the juvenile justice system.
