This course introduces students to human toxicology, covering mechanisms of toxicant action, toxicokinetics, dose-response relationships, and effects on major organ systems. Through case studies involving environmental, occupational, and pharmaceutical toxicants, students explore health impacts and regulatory issues. The course emphasizes applying toxicological principles to assess risk, interpret data, and address current public health and environmental safety challenges.
